About Dr. Lazzell
Dr. Kelsie Lazzell was first introduced to alternative medicine while suffering from back pain in college. After being diagnosed with scoliosis and experiencing the benefits chiropractic provided, she decided to pursue a career as a chiropractor. While working towards her chiropractic doctorate, she felt there was something missing in the care she wanted to provide for her patients and enrolled in the naturopathic medicine program. Throughout naturopathic medical school, she saw how the merriment of these two fields of medicine could help provide the well rounded care she wanted to provide for patients.
Dr. Lazzell believes in restoring health through non-invasive therapies such as chiropractic manipulation and various myofascial techniques, nutritional counseling, mineral and vitamin supplementation, botanical medicine, and acupuncture. She uses both conventional and functional diagnostic techniques to investigate the root cause of each patients’ unique set of symptoms. Doctor is derived from the Latin word “Docere,” meaning teacher. Dr. Lazzell sees herself as a teacher; guiding her patients with knowledge and tools to keep themselves healthy.
Dr. Kelsie Lazzell received her Doctor of Chiropractic and Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. She has additional post-graduate training in functional medicine, fertility and pediatrics, acupuncture, nutrition, and functional rehabilitation. Dr. Lazzell has a passion for supporting women through pregnancy, labor, post-partum care, as well as pediatric wellness.
